Hi, I'm Ané!

Wife, mom to two busy boys, passionate sourdough baker, and the creator behind Nytjie Bytjie Educational Designs.

Although I'm not an educator myself, I've always had a deep passion for education. Inspired by the incredible teachers in my life (my mom, my sister and my best friend), creating classroom décor and educational resources has allowed me to contribute to classrooms in a meaningful way, while teaching others the art of sourdough has introduced me to another wonderful community of eager learners.

Together with my husband, who works as a nature conservationist, our two young boys and our dog, we live on a beautiful nature reserve where we're constantly surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. Our love for nature (and especially the remarkable world of bees) remains at the heart of the Nytjie Bytjie brand. Bees remind us that even the smallest creatures can make the biggest difference, and that same philosophy inspires everything I create.
